Storm Debris

Dear SCO residents,
As we all know, Hurricane Beryl left many impacts on our community. We are piecing it back together as best and as fast as we can. We want to thank all the volunteers for assisting with black bags and debris. Neighbors like you make this the best place to live.
Unfortunately, the automatic storm debris pickups have been stopped by the commissioner’s office. They only made it down a few streets in SCO ultimately.

We are now being told to call (713) 274-3100 and request a pickup. You can also call 311 option 6 then option 3 and report this way.

This is for storm debris: tree trunks, logs, branches leaves and any thing else from your yard basically. Put it all in the same pile, report it, and hope for a speedy pickup. If you have black bags of debris, dump them out in a pile for the pickup as well.

The drop off location at Meyer Park is also still open for anyone to dump their debris. If there are any residents who need special assistance, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
Thank you,
Thano Triadafilopoulos
